Real authentic Mexican food. Prepared with fresh home made tortillas.
We sell tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and vampiros.
Adobo Taco Grill is one of the most unique dining experiences I’ve ever had while on the road. Isn’t that the primary reason why we Yelp? Of course it is. Based on reviews I just had to try it for myself and it didn’t disappoint.
Very unique. In my opinion, this is not your typical taco hole in the wall establishment. Case in point, the entire time we were dining, people were coming in droves. A never ending wave of customers hungry for what they’ve already discovered for themselves to be something special.
Flavorful and delicious seasoned to near perfection beef, pork and chicken. Tacos, burritos, rice, beans, fresh salsa bar and all you can drink soda fountain.

I totally dug this place and while I know I have been giving out a lot of 4 and 5 star reviews is because trusting other Yelper’s doesn’t serve you wrong and if a bunch of us are saying this is 4 and 5 star food and service then it is…just stumbled across Adobo Taco Grill driving around Long Beach super Hangry! I was actually turning around in their shopping center when I saw their place and decided to look them up. This is a very small place and very simple inside. They have a great little condiment and salsa bar along with a fresh hot pot of beans if you would like some.
I got a pastor taco, a pollo taco and a a pastor vampiros(basically a tostada) these items are classic taqueria style simple flavors and ingredients. Well they more than delivered on everything. I doctored mine from the condiment bar with pickled onions (super delicious) , cabbage, pico de gallo and their different salsa’s. Everything was delicious and hate great flavors. I wish we had a place like this back home because I would be their frequent customer. Nothing beats feeling super hungry and fulfilling it with some great Mexican food. I loved this place and I know you will to…

Stopped here for a quick bite while heading to the airport and I was able to beat the crowd! Even though their menu looked very simple, it can be complicated for someone like me because I don’t eat at Mexican restaurants very often and will need an overview of vocabulary lol. The cashier was sooo sweet and friendly in explaining the menu and meats to me. I ordered the Vampiro Tacos that were loaded with meat that I saw on Instagram and it was worth every bite!

Amazing tacos! I’m so happy I live so close by. This might get dangerous. The tortilla taste like homemade and fresh. They prepare the meat on to the tortilla and that’s it. There’s a salsa bar that you can pick and choose what you want to put on the taco. I got one of the carne aside, pastor, and carnitas. All 3 meats were juicy and delicious. I pretty much inhaled the tacos. It’s pretty busy, but the wait isn’t long. The server are really focus when preparing the orders and quick. There’s also free bean soup?or maybe it’s used for topping. Although it’s a small place, their food is outstanding. Price is affordable. I’m thoroughly impressed.

By far, one of the friendliest group of staffs that I have ever seen. My friends and I love coming here on Taco Tuesdays. Not only the tacos are affordable, it’s also delicious. The salsa bar is the reason why I love this place so much. So many toppings to choose from and it’s super clean. I remembered seeing staff members cleaning the salsa bar every 5 minutes or so.
I would recommend adding the pickled purple onion to your tacos (out of this world). There are plenty of options to choose from, however, my all time favorites have to be the al pastor and the carne asada (so worth it for only $1.79 per taco).

The shrimp tacos are face-meltingly good. I’ve tried to replicate them a couple times at home. I marinade the shrimp, peppers, and onions with oil, salt, pepper, tequila, lime, and cilantro. The tortillas they use are amazing.
The habanero salsa they have in the bottle is fantastic. I’ve noticed it varies in hotness. One day I put my normal amount on, and it wrecked me in the best way possible. Just be sure to take a little taste before your douse your taco.

One of my favorite taco places in southeast LA.
Their vampiro tacos with sour cream and gruc always hit the spot for us. Friendly service and very fast. Don’t worry about the long lines, it moves pretty fast on a Tuesday and Friday nights when everyone get cravings for their handmade tortillas.
The only catchy part about coming to this small place is that you’re better off taking these tacos to go or eat it at your car as the seatings are limited. No restrooms either if you planning to gorge at the location.
Go for the asadas and put it Vampiro style. No regrets!

I finally satisfied my lengua taco cravings here at Adobo! Came here on a Sunday afternoon right before the big lunch rush. I ordered 3 tacos – lengua, pollo, and asada. Their tacos are slightly bigger than the standard street taco size and the tortillas were freshly made. All the meats were delicious and top notch quality. Can’t wait to try the burrito next time I’m in the area. The self-serve salsa bar had a variety of sauces and extra toppings along with free beans from the pot. They offered me a sample of the melon agua fresca and it was so bomb that I had to order one to-go!
